Sherwood and Laurie founded Brown House Properties in 1979 and through the years have worked tirelessly to build their real estate portfolio and reputation. Sherwood has vast construction, civil and mechanical trade knowledge which he gained through his years of experience in the field. Sherwood has a true passion for real estate, the art of the deal and educating himself on the ever changing industry.  Always on the go, Sherwood enjoys being at Loon Ridge and spending time with his grandchildren.

Laurie & Sherwood founded Brown House Properties in 1979 and have enjoyed building the business together from a side gig to the successful corporation that it is today.  Her previous experience in communications made her the perfect match for managing tenant relations.  Sherwood & Laurie have two adult children and three grand children. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her grandchildren, gardening and spending time with family on the water at Loon Ridge.

Lindsey formally joined the company in 2010 but spent many summers and school breaks working on the Brown House Maintenance Team. In 2008 she graduated from the University of Maine, Orono with a Bachelors degree in Business Administration and later that year married her college sweetheart, Chris Burrill. In 2012 she was elected the President of the Central Maine Apartment Owners Association and still occupies that seat.  Lindsey is a dedicated mother of two young children and when she’s not in the office you will find her in one of her gardens, greenhouse or camping in the Maine wilderness. 

Chris has a multi faceted background in both civil & mechanical trades and engineering with a degree in Building Construction and Electricians Technology. In 2007 he began working for Cianbro in engineering and in 2008 married Lindsey Booker Burrill. Chris formally joined Brown House Properties in 2011 and put his vast skill set to use! Chris is a dedicated father of two young children who love learning the tricks of the trade and plowing with their Dad. In 2018 Chris knocked off a bucket list item and became a Registered Maine Guide. As an avid outdoorsman, when he’s not at work you will find him in the woods or on the water. 

Selina Champagne is our Operations Administrator. She became a licensed real estate broker in 1998 and quickly learned property management was her niche. Selina has managed single family homes, luxury apartment communities, and has worked in affordable housing. When Selina is not working, she enjoys boating, camping, cooking, and working on her small farm.

Delaney brings a friendly face and warm smile to the office. She has years of experience in customer service and enjoys talking to everyone about anything! Delaney is originally from the Midcoast area but moved to the Kennebec Valley with her husband to start their family. She enjoys reading, finding new music, cooking and hanging out with her daughter and 2 cats. Delaney is excited to be at Brown House Properties and can't wait to see where the future brings her!

With more than 200 years of combined experience in maintenance and construction, our dedicated Maintenance Team is one of the driving forces behind Brown House Properties. Without these team members, we would not be able to service and maintain the hundreds of units in our portfolio. Keeping safety and quality as their focus, our Team strives to ensure that our tenants have one less thing to worry about.
